On Wednesday, we visited the Lake Superior Museum of Transportation, and also rode the train from Duluth to Two Harbors. Pictured are conventioneers walking about inside the museum, and the first Northern Pacific steam locomotive "Minnetonka" and first Great Northern steam locomotive "William Crooks".
Thursday night we took a few night photographs at the Minnesota Transportation Museum's ex-Great Northern Jackson Street Roundhouse. The first locomotive is Dan Patch Electric Lines #100, the second is the former LST&T #101, and the third one is steam locomotive tenders resting inside the roundhouse.
On Saturday we rode behind two steam engines to LaCrescent, Minnesota behind Canadian Pacific's locomotive #2816, "The Empress" and also Northstar Rail's Milwaukee Road 261. The first picture is the train crossing the Mississippi River at Hastings, Minnesota. The other three are at the service stop in Red Wing, Minnesota.
