Sunday we will board our train at Withrow, Minnesota (northeast of St. Paul) to ride part of the former route of the Atlantic Limited of the Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie Railway (the "SOO Line") to Dresser, Wisconsin. Here we’ll ride the Minnesota Transportation Museum's Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway over portions of the railroad not regularly covered on their public excursions. The train will feature two open window coaches, two streamlined air conditioned Great Northern coaches and a Great Northern open platform business car. Multiple runbys, lunch and a visit to the restored stone depot in Oscola, Wisconsin is included. For those who have early flights home, one bus will return you directly to the airport from the train.
